What is Metro Simulator?
The original Metro Simulator launched back in 2021, and was welcomed by gamers on both PC and console. The sequel debuted on PC in June, 2023. It subsequently launched on Nintendo Switch in February, 2024. PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 editions are also in the works.
The series is developer by KishMish Games. The team promises ‘a realistic and relaxing simulator with faithful reproductions of the metro and train control mechanics’. The new simulator not only faithfully reproduces the characteristics of the subway, but also the mechanics of controlling the trains.
The developers have included a real-world based speed control system to prevent potential collisions and other undesirable events. Speedometers and traffic lights also play an important role in the gameplay.
How does it Play?
You become a train driver in the game. The game offers both a free play mode, and varied scenarios with fixed timetables and specific conditions and situations. The simulator features two different trains, each with their own unique control systems.
The metro itself includes 24 stations and a variety of tunnels and facilities. You’ll experience driving in a realistic subway system, with faithfully reproduced train controls.
