Demoniaca: Everlasting Night is a fantastic metroidvania title that, somehow, many gamers missed. Debuting on Steam back in 2019, the game made it’s way to consoles last year courtesy of eastasiasoft. And now, partnering with VGNTsoft, a physical edition of Demoniaca: Everlasting Night is coming to store shelves.

Demoniaca: Everlasting Night sets you on a journey through the corrupted Tower of Babel. As you explore, you’ll uncover its many dangerous secrets, challenge powerful lords and slay hordes of their minions. The game features fluid real-time combat that’s easy to learn, but challenging to master. In traditional metroidvania fashion, you’ll gain access to new areas in and around the tower as you progress and upgrade abilities.

Chit Hot delivered a Demoniaca: Everlasting Night review upon launch, stating: “Demoniaca: Everlasting Night isn’t the longest game in the genre, but it’s genuinely enjoyable for every minute it lasts. Setting yourself quests independent of the task at hand – searching for treasure chests, acquiring souls to buy an item or attempting to level-up before facing a boss – only adds to the enjoyment of living in this tough-but-fair world.”

Demoniaca: Everlasting Night Physical Edition

The Demoniaca: Everlasting Night physical edition will launch on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Once again, it seems Xbox gamers are left out of the collectable end of physical game packaging. Two versions of the game will be offered, with ‘Elite’ edition including the following:

  • Exclusive Demoniaca Flier
  • Exclusive Demoniaca Sticker
  • Individually Numbered Packaging

The Demoniaca: Everlasting Night physical edition can already be pre-ordered, with listings at both Amazon and PlayAsia now live. No specific release date has yet been announced. VGNYsoft state ‘Q2 2023’, but PlayAsia lists 30th May, 2023. If we had to guess, we’d say that’s a placeholder date.

Only 4,000 units will be produced for Nintendo Switch, and 2,000 for PlayStation 5. Are you keen to get your hands on a physical version of Demoniaca: Everlasting Night? Let us know in the comments below.
