Top Racer Collection is set to bring back the 90s classic in one incredible package. Bringing together three iconic games from the renowned racing franchise, fans are eager to get behind the while. However, that red light is going to hang a little longer, as QUBtye Interactive has announced a delay to the release.

Originally released for a range of older systems, Top Racer (aka Top Gear in the West) won over gamers with its engaging gameplay, vibrant graphics and iconic soundtracks. The Top Racer Collection features classic titles such as Top Racer, Top Racer 2 and Top Racer 3000. In addition, the collection will feature the brand new Top Racer Crossroads and more exclusive content. The collection is complimented with online features, allowing players to get up to speed and experience the nostalgic mix of action and addictive gameplay online.

Top Racer Collection Delay

In announcing the delay in the launch of Top Racer, QUByte Interactive offered the following statement:

“In order to offer the best game possible for players who are passionate about the Top Racer franchise and for those who are eager to experience the games for the first time, we have made the decision to postpone the release of Top Racer Collection on all platforms to March 7, 2024.

This will allow us more time to enhance the experience for everyone and refine all the classic and exclusive modes that will be present in the collection.”

A two month delay, then. But it’s not all bad news. QUByte Interactive also announced that players will be able to try out a free demo. This will be available on Steam from 11th January, 2024. The demo will include three tracks to play and local multiplayer.
