This late summer, players will reshuffle the cards with the return of Baten Kaitos: Enternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins. Recently confirmed for launch in Japan on 14th September, the iconic Nintendo GameCube card-based RPG games now have an official European launch date. Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster is now confirmed for release date on Friday, 15th September, 2023.
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster will allow both original players and newcomers to again discover the endearing and emotional journey that awaits them. The package includes two games, bringing the Nintendo GameCube classics to the modern era. In the first story, players follow Kalas in his quest for revenge for the death of his loved ones. Then, dive deeper into the secrets of the Alfard Empire alongside Sagi in the sequel.
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster New Features
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster introduces new features such as encounters-off, auto-battle, skip cutscenes, and auto-save. The intention is to make this remaster more accessible to new players. Overall, the game and battle speed can be increased up to 300%. In order to slay enemies even faster, you can use “Instant KO” and win the battle in a single attack. In times when rest is needed, enable the function “No Encounter” to avoid battles on your way. Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster also comes with other several system settings to support game progression.
As previously revealed by Chit Hot, Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster will be a GAME retail exclusive in the UK. The previously stated release date of 30th June, 2023, is no longer accurate. As stated above, Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster has a release date across Europe on 15th September, 2023.
