Get ready to synchronise your troops on as Kalypso Media have revealed their retail attack plans. A classic series will ambush the shelves with the Commandos 2 & 3 HD Remaster Double Pack next month. Developed by Raylight Games and Yippee! Entertainment, the games allow players to experience WWII like never before. From training camp to daring missions, engage the enemy and relive history across three major frontlines, including Stalingrad, Central Europe and Normandy.
Containing two cult classics, the Commandos 2 & 3 HD Remaster Double Pack offers players the chance to enjoy both remastered editions of the genre defining series. Both now in revamped high definition. Players will take control of an elite group of Allied commandos. Venture deep behind enemy lines on the battlefields of World War II Europe.
The Green Beret, Sapper, Sniper, Diver, Spy and Thief all await your command as you put your tactical know-how to the test and take history into your own hands. With more than 20 perilous missions across the globe, your success is up to you. Experiment with daring strategy and utilise authentic weaponry to ensure you help the Allies to victory once more.
The new retail package, including both Commandos 2 HD Remaster and Commandos 3 HD Remaster, will arrive in stores on 3rd November, 2022, throughout North America. According to Kalypso Media’s announcement today, the package will follow one week later in Europe. On 10th November, the game will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Of course, both included games will also work on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
The Commandos 2 & 3 HD Remaster Double Pack follows another duo release of classic titles from Kalypso Media. The Commandos 2 & Praetorians: HD Remastered Double Pack launched back in 2020. It’s great to see Kalypso Media continuing to bring value packages for gamers, but why they opted to include Commandos 2 twice is a mystery. Surely fans of the series will already own half of this new double pack?
Either way, you can look forward to more from the classic Commandos series next month. Will you be picking up this new package? Let us know in the comments below!
