Different Pokémon for Different Players

Now that the raw stats are out of the way, what does it all mean? Basically Rowlet is a safe bet. If you’re undecided about how you’re going to play Pokémon Legends: Arceusthen Rowlet is a relatively sturdy quick evolution pathway. Cyndaquil is a better long-term option, given that its final form, Hisuian Typhlosion, has the highest overall stats.

Based on stats alone, Oshawott is the worst starter Pokémon. However in practice it’s actually a fair choice. Oshawott is a water-type fighter and is therefore capable of inflicting extra damage on rock opponents. Given that you will be encountering a lot of those in the early hours of Pokémon Legends: ArceusOshawott can give you an easier start to the game.
