Welcome to Chit Hot’s Terminator: Resistance Achievement Guide. Terminator: Resistance is an FPS developed by Teyon, and is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is also compatible with Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, via backwards compatibility updates. In this guide you’ll learn how to earn 100% of all the Trophies (PlayStation 4 & 5) or Achievements (Xbox formats).
The game takes place in the Terminator universe in 2028, but only takes into account the plotlines of the first and second movies. Which is probably for the best. You play as a Resistance Member, Jacob Rivers, trying to reach the main Resistance force after a Terminator infiltrator’s attack executed the rest of your team.

Terminator: Resistance Missable Achievement/Trophy
As you progress through the game many of the Achievements and Trophies will unlock through normal play. However, there’s one one that missable: “No Hope”.
In order to successfully obtain this you need Level 3 Lockpicking during the main mission “No Hope” in order to open an ‘impossible’ door. Simply ensure that you level-up this ability as soon as you can. By the time you reach the mission you’ll likely be higher than the level required to unlock this skill.

Terminator: Resistance Achievement Guide
Below you’ll find the complete Terminator: Resistance Achievement Guide. This includes the full details on what is needed for each Achievement/Trophy. Happy hunting!
No problemo

Hasta la vista, baby
Destroy your first T-800.
Story related, cannot be missed.
It’s a bird…
Destroy a T-800 Flamethrower by shooting it’s fuel tank.
During the main mission “Back to Pasadena” you will first run into T-808 Terminators. These carry flamethrowers and have large fuel tanks mounted on their backs. When one is turned away from you shoot the tank.
Hacker
Successfully hack 10 devices.
During the main mission “Hospitality” you will be given a hacking device. This device lets you hack certain Skynet devices such as doors and turrets with a minigame that is similar to Frogger. Hack any 10 devices with this device to earn this Achievement/Trophy.
Helping Hand
Successfully hack a Turret.
During the main mission “Hospitality” you will be given a hacking device. Shortly after you’ll come to an area with a gate you can hack, along with a turret. If you sneak up the side of the room you can get behind this turret and hack it to earn this Achievement/Trophy.
Tinker
Upgrade your weapon.
Story related, cannot be missed.
Turn Up the Radio
Use Ryan’s boombox to annoy Alvin.
To get this trophy you first need to accept the side quest “Radio for Ryan”, which can be obtained during the main mission “Members of the Resistance” (Chapter 15). After you return to the Shelter with Alvin go into the workshop room and speak to Ryan. He will ask you to find a new radio for him. During the main mission “Hunting Season” you will have the objective marked to find said radio, located in a destroyed shop with music playing from it. Head upstairs and deal with the two T-800s, then grab the radio off the table.
Once you have completed this mission and returned to the Resistance Shelter, head over to the workshop room where Ryan is and the now working radio will be. Interact with it once to turn it on, then again to turn up the volume on it, which will annoy Alvin and pop this Achievement/trophy.
Researcher
Take at least a ‘good’ photo of an enemy.
After completing main mission “Into the Storm” and reaching the South Resistance Shelter you’ll be provided with an upgrade for your goggles that allows you to take pictures. When you activate it you can zoom in with the D-Pad and then take pictures. When you aim at an enemy you will be shown some info and the rating of what the picture would be, ranging from Terrible to Perfect. Snap one with at least a rating of Good to earn this Achievement/Trophy.
Not a Mission Priority
Complete a side objective.
This Achievement/Trophy is awarded for completing your first side quest in the game.
Easy Money
Successfully open 10 locks.
Lockpicking in this game functions basically the same as most other Bethesda games that have a lockpick mechanic. You need to have at least one lockpick in your inventory, then when you pick a lock you will go into a minigame where you rotate the pick with the left stick and turn the lock with the right stick. You need to find the right spot to open the lock so that it turns all the way. On locks of Easy/Medium/Hard difficulty if you push too long without finding the correct spot you will break one the lockpick. Successfully open any 10 locks of any difficulty to earn this Achievement/Trophy.
Handyman
Successfully craft 5 items.
This Achievement/Trophy is awarded for crafting a total of any five items. Crafting is done at a crafting table, found in the hideout or in Safe Houses. You use acquired materials to craft a number of different items, such as Lockpicks, ammo, or consumables. Crafting also awards XP based on the level and amount of items crafted. The easiest thing to craft is a Lockpick, requiring 2 Metal Scraps each. You can choose to make five of these in one go, which will award this Achievement/Trophy.
Journalist
Find a note.
See “Historian” for 10 note locations.
No Hope
Open the unlockable door in Pasadena.
Missable
During the main quest “Back to Pasadena” (Chapter 11) head East and you will find an area where there is a locked door unattached to any buildings. You need to pick this door, even though it doesn’t go anywhere. This is the only Achievement/Trophy that you really need to be watching out for, as you need to reach this chapter with a Lockpick Skill of Level 3.
Taste of Your Own Medicine
Get an enemy killed by a hacked Turret.
This trophy is earned by having a hacked turret destroy any other type of enemy. You can do this almost immediately after getting the hacking device. Hack the first door in the room with the single turret, then you’ll have to move through a room with two turrets. If you sneak around the side behind one turret you can hack it, and then it will destroy the other turret in the room.
Efficient Killer
Kill a Terminator using a Termination Knife.
A Termination Knife is a consumable weapon that you can use to instantly kill a T-800. You can craft them after upgrading your crafting skill to Level 3, or when Ryan tells you about them he has two you can take during the main quest “Back to Pasadena”. When you have at least one in your possession you equip it to your weapon wheel then hold it in place of a gun. You can then sneak up behind a T-800 and instantly destroy it!
Blackout
Destroy a Skynet Outpost.
During the main mission “Back to Pasadena” you will be given two side objectives for “Skynet’s Western Outpost” and “Skynet’s Eastern Outpost”. These are two locations of fortified Skynet structures where you goal is to get inside and hack or destroy the main generator. Complete either of these objectives while you are in this area to earn this trophy. There are also a few more of these in the subsequent missions as well that you can destroy.
Still Counts as One
Destroy the T-47 that occupies Pasadena.
During the main mission “Back to Pasadena” you will be contacted over the radio by Baron and told about a T-47 machine is in the area. She wants you to take a picture of it with your new goggles. After you have done so, you need to destroy it. It wanders around in an area southwest of the Eastern Skynet Outpost. The area it’s in has a number of Plasma Storage canisters in it, and you can use those to damage it, as well as hacking local turrets.
Priority to Me!
Complete 5 side objectives.
This Achievement/Trophy is awarded for completing any five side quests in the game. We won’t go into full detail of each of them in this Terminator: Resistance Achievement Guide, as they are plentiful and mostly quite easy. However, to see what needs to be done head to the “Quests” part of the pause menu. They are listed under the “Side Quests” heading, and on your map they will be marked with the blue “Side Objective” diamonds. Be sure to talk to all NPCs in the main hideout areas and agree to help them when you can so that you gain access to as many side quests as possible.
Historian
Find 10 notes.
Notes are the collectibles that you can find around the game world, and obtaining them gives some backstory and a small amount of XP. There are a total of 32 notes throughout the game. We won’t list them all in this Terminator: Resistance Achievement Guide as honestly, they’re pretty obvious if you’re searching around each area and completing all side quests.
