Alderon Games has announced that Path of Titans, a cross-platform MMO game, will hatch into life this summer. Players will take on the role of a dinosaur, growing from egg to adult in a rich ecosystem. 30+ species, AI creatures, and support for up to 200 human players are promised for the final release version of the game.

In Path of Titans, players can explore an environment battling against natural events while avoiding death. As you progress, you can augment your dinosaur to suit your play style.

“Customization is the most important element of Path of Titans. We want players to feel like they’re part of a vast sandbox where they can create a completely unique creature, from species to skins, colours, markings and personality. We are also building an extensive modding system so players can take an active role in shaping the future of the world.”

Matthew Cassells, co-founder of Alderon Games

Rank up on official servers, on custom community servers, and move between linked servers with your favourite dinosaurs. Solo and social pack adventures allow players to explore the open sandboxes. An extensive system of MMO side-questing has been designed for the menagerie of air, land, and sea dinosaurs. Rewards and incentives will guide players from egg to adult.

The Beta will support cross-platform play on PC, mobile, consoles, Mac and Linux. It will arrive this summer, though no official release date has yet been announced. A Path of Titans Founders Edition package will let players find and build a home cave within Panjura, the first of several 8km x 8km maps. The second map, islands of Gwonda, will launch soon after.
