Debuting on the Nintendo eShop back in October 2022, Sea Horizon has proved extremely popular. So much so that it was followed by a physical release in both standard and limited editions. Now, publisher eastasiasoft is going one step further. The game will also come to PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and PC, later this year.

In the world of Sea Horizon, every step counts in a journey of survival and high adventure. Sea Horizon is a roguelike turn-based RPG presented in a 3D bird’s eye view of a hex grid map. This map is different every time you set out to explore the shattered archipelago of Myrihyn.

Players choose between a wide variety of characters with their own storied backgrounds and personal motivations. With your party, you must chart a path across diverse landscapes and treacherous seas. Equip weapons, carefully manage your hunger and health, and weigh risk against the potential reward of each side quest. If you find yourself overwhelmed, you can activate blessings to help you along the way.

Traditional role-playing elements like dice rolls and randomised battle cards govern your available actions. Make wise decisions to stack the deck in your favour. In traditional roguelike flavour, whether you succeed or fail new paths will always be open to you in the next attempt. But if you are successful, victory will unlock new playable characters and tales to discover.

Sea Horizon PlayStation & Xbox Releases

Developed by 45 Studio, Sea Horizon is set to launch on multiple new formats later this year. PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC will all receive the game. There’s currently no word on a physical release for these new formats, however.
