It was six years ago that PM Studios released its popular roguelike Juicy Realm for PC. After a Nintendo Switch release in 2019, the game then arrived for PlayStation 4 & 5 only a few days ago. All digitally mind you. But Juicy Realm will hit retailers in May for those who love to collect physical copies.

A frantic roguelike which PM Studios says is “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs meets Little Shop of Horrors,” plants now reign supreme. “Many years in the future, humanity looks upward in despair at plants, now standing atop the food chain. How could they have been so arrogant…”

It’s up to you to venture into the heart of the plant kingdom and battle exotic and deadly fruits. That means arming yourself with an assortment of weapons and collecting new equipment and resources on-route. You’ll also need to fortify your base if you’re to survive the fruity onslaught.

Juicy Realm gets Physical

Played solo or with friends in local co-op, you’ll be able to explore random zones, filled with treasures and monsters. You can even crossplay across all supported devices, no matter if they’re on PC, console or mobile.

This being a roguelike, once you die you’ll go back to your base camp and prepare for another run. Expanding your camp is crucial to success as it’ll unlock new features for you to experiment with.

The physical edition of Juicy Realm will be released on 21st May for PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It’s available to pre-order if you want to nab a release day copy.
