Limited Run and Konami have announced the Castlevania Advance Collection. Rumoured for some time, the package will receive a physical release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The Xbox version will also be compatible with Xbox Series X.
Players will join the fight against Evil in the Castlevania Advance Collection, a compilation of timeless action-exploration masterpieces. In addition to the three legendary Castlevania games that were first released on Game Boy Advance, this collection also includes Castlevania: Dracula X and never-before-seen sketches and artwork from the games.
Castlevania Advance Collection Contents
The games included in Castlevania Advance Collection are as follows:
- Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (GBA) -The first Castlevania title released on Game Boy Advance. The story follows Nathan Graves, a vampire hunter apprentice who enters Dracula’s Castle along with his Master in order to prevent the dreaded return of the Count.
- Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance (GBA) – The second Castlevania title released on Game Boy Advance. Play as Juste Belmont, the grandson of legendary Vampire Hunter Simon Belmont.
- Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (GBA) – The third and final Castlevania game on Game Boy Advance. Soma Cruz, a young high school exchange student in Japan, is somehow involved in the eternal cycle of reincarnation of the Dark Lord himself. What role does Soma play in all of this? Will he be able to return to his own world?
- Castlevania: Dracula X (SNES) – A re-imagination of the cult action game Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Dracula X has been acclaimed as one of the most challenging Castlevania titles ever created.
The package will also include the following features:
- Gallery – Browse through scans of the original package designs and artwork never shown to the public before.
- ROM Region Selection – You can choose between the Japanese, American, and European versions of each game.
- Encyclopedia – Learn more about all three GBA games thanks in their encyclopedia. Detailed information on enemies, the ‘DSS’ system, the ‘Tactical Soul’ system, and the ‘Spell Fusion’ system will help you master each game’s unique combat system.
- Music Player – Listen to any of four complete soundtracks whenever you want.
- Save/Load – You can quickly save and reload at any point in the game. Even right before that deadly attack from Dracula himself.
- Rewind – You can now rewind the state of the game for a few seconds for a second chance.
Castlevania Advance Collection Physical Edition
The newly revealed ‘Standard Edition’ allows customers to choose between four distinct covers for their game. In addition to a silver box ‘Classic Edition’, Limited Run will also offer an ‘Advanced Edition’, which includes a SteelBook and an oversized Game Boy Advance box to store collectibles in. Finally, the ‘Ultimate Edition’ includes even more throwback goods, such as a shadow box, lithographic prints, and more. PC fans will also be able to pick up any of the boxes Collector’s Editions.
Castlevania Advance Collection joins Castlevania Anniversary Collection, Castlevania Requiem, Contra, GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon and more in the library of premium physical editions made specifically with Konami fans in mind. Limited Run invites fans to add another silver box to their collection this summer.

Pre-orders for the Castlevania Advance Collection will begin on 28th July, 2023. The collection is expected to launch later in the year.
