Firefighting Simulator – The Squad debuted at the beginning of the year. The game initially launched for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Now, publisher astragon Entertainment and developer Chronos Unterhaltungssoftware, have finally brought Firefighting Simulator – The Squad to the Nintendo Switch.
In Firefighting Simulator – The Squad, up to four players can team-up for action with authentic firefighter equipment and a selection of five officially licensed firefighting vehicles by Rosenbauer America. Hit the road in the TP3 Pumper and the T-Rex Articulating Platform, as you extinguish fires and save people from the flames. Solo players take control of their AI-controlled colleagues with the help of a command interface in order to give them instructions on how to proceed.
In more than 40 varied missions, players must fight against the fire together in co-operative multiplayer or in the single player mode. As a member of a U.S. fire department, the virtual firefighters have to get an overview of the location, correctly assess the hazardous situation and coordinate their own task force.
As stated above, the game is already available for PC and consoles, where Chit Hot delivered a Firefighting Simulator – The Squad review, stating: “The real benefit here however is the ability to play with friends. If you have three likeminded friends to experience Firefighting Simulator: The Squad with, it might be worth your time.”
