Dark Point Games has announced the official release date for Achilles: Legends Untold. The game will debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC early next month.
In Achilles: Legends Untold, players will rewrite the myth of Achilles – the mighty Greek warrior and the commander of brave Myrmidons. After the War of Troy, you return to Greece and find your homeland plunged into chaos. The story takes you through the diverse locations of ancient Mycenae. You will learn how to cope with your new nature and become the one who can save the mortal world from impending doom.
Achilles: Legends Untold is promising to deliver a brand-new experience to the ARPG genre. Players will jump straight into the action in a combat-focused game where every fight provides a unique challenge. With more than a casual nod to Creative Assembly’s oft-forgotten Spartan: Total Warrior, players must watch their opponents and observe their movements to learn how defeat them.
You can customise your play style by combining skills and weapons of choice. Decimate your foes with a two-handed sword, call upon gods’ powers to cause havoc in their ranks, or shower them with petards before taking a direct approach.
Achilles: Legends Untold Release Date
Achilles: Legends Untold has already benefitted from an Early Access period on Steam. The game arrived on 12th May, 2023, and was very well received. For console players however, the upcoming launch will be their first opportunity to experience the game.
Created by Dark Point Games, Achilles: Legends Untold has a release date set for 2nd November, 2023. The game will arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC simultaneously. According to the developers, the game has a campaign playtime of approximately 20 hours. That’s a lot of tense combat action to get through!
