Today heralds the launch of Lords of the Fallen. Available now on PC and consoles, CI Games has revealed a new launch trailer to entice gamers even further.
Set in the vast and interconnected land of Mournstead, the game follows one of the fabled Lamp-bearers as they embark on an epic quest to stop the impending return of the demon god, Adyr.
As humanity’s final hope against Adyr and his hordes, players will traverse between the parallel worlds of the living (Axiom) and dead (Umbral) through the use of a mysterious and otherworldly lamp. You must overcome colossal and nightmarish monstrosities in both planes of existence. The game features co-op, allowing other players to join you in your crusade against evil.

What’s in a Name?
Lords of the Fallen was originally known as The Lords of the Fallen. It is the follow-up to 2014’s Lords of the Fallen. Exactly why CI Games opted for such a confusing naming convention beggars belief.
This new game introduces an all-new RPG adventure in a vast, interconnected world more than five times larger than the original game. As stated above, players will journey through both the realms of the living and the dead in this expansive RPG experience. The game promises colossal boss battles, fast combat and immersive storytelling.
Players can experience the single-player campaign alone, or invite a second player to join your adventure in online co-op. But it’s not all friendly out there. Heroes from other realms can invade yours, upping the ante significantly.
Lords of the Fallen is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The console editions benefit from a Deluxe Edition, containing numerous additional bonuses:
- Dark Crusader Class
- 3D Model Viewer
- Digital Artbook
- Digital Soundtrack
