Recreate Games has shown a concerted effort in expanding the hugely popular Party Animals since launch. In addition to new arenas and game modes, the team has also secured interesting collaborations for the game. From Cabbage Dog to Ori, new playable animals have been frequent additions. The latest of these collaborations sees Massive Monster’s Cult of the Lamb debut in Party Animals.

Party Animals is a comedy game in the vein of Gangbeasts. Lots of laughs errupt as players attempt to toss, grapple, hit, and swing their pals around. Or stumble face-first to the ground in the process. A range of adorable animals, from puppies and kittens to bunnies and duckies, make this the cutest cooperative brawler.

The physics engine features wobbly, physics-driven character movements. This leads to unpredictable encounters as the cute critters wrestle, punch, throw, and grapple their way through various task-oriented or competitive games.

Party Animals X Cult of the Lamb

Party Animals launched in September 2023. The game was met with a warm reception, for which the day one addition to Xbox Game Pass surely helped. Now though, a new collaboration with Devolver Digital and Massive Monster brings fans of Cult of the Lamb into the loop. You can now add more delightful chaos to your daily rituals and sermons by possessing the Lamb’s vessel to assert dominance over friends and enemies alike in Party Animals.

Watch the unveiling of the Lamb in the official announcement trailer:

The Lamb will be available as part of the regular in-game shop rotation for the foreseeable future and can be purchased with the Cookies currency. Cookies are earned through gameplay or purchased with Nemo Bucks.

Party Animals is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. As stated above, the game is included in the Xbox GamePass subscription.
