Square Enix has announced it will publish Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker — The Art of Resurrection -Beyond the Veil- this summer. This latest addition to the Final Fantasy XIV art book series comes from from the company’s Square Enix Manga & Books imprint. This is an arm of the company which has been increasing its output of late.
The Art of Resurrection -Beyond the Veil- is the second volume of a two-volume art book set for Final Fantasy XIV. It will feature roughly 800 pieces of full-color artwork created during the development of the critically acclaimed Endwalker expansion. The book totals 336 pages and will be available in the west initially as a paperback. Digital editions will likely follow, as with other titles in the series. Though there’s been no confirmation as of yet.
This large-format volume covers content through Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.5. This includes Myths of the Realm, Pandæmonium and Island Sanctuary. It also features detailed illustrations of characters, equipment, dungeons, trials, and more across hundreds of pages.
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker — The Art of Resurrection -Beyond the Veil- will follow the launch of The Apothecary Diaries‘ debut in western territories. It will be released on 25th June, 2024. It will also include an exclusive item code for a Zodiark Idol minion in Final Fantasy XIV.
Though the second part of a two-volume set, this new edition is actually the ninth in a series of Final Fantasy XIV art books. Each of which contains an exclusive code for a unique in-game item. Fans of Final Fantasy XIV may well be keen to purchase each edition purely for the thrill of showing off their unique item.
