Digital Cybercherries has announced the official release date of Hypercharge: Unboxed for Xbox consoles. Having debuted on PC back in 2020, the campaign to bring the game to consoles has been a long and winding road, but now Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One gamers can pre-order and play Hypercharge: Unboxed before the month’s end.

What is Hypercharge: Unboxed?
Inspired by films like Toy Story and Small Soldiers, Hypercharge: Unboxed is a nostalgia filled action game for gamers of a certain age. Playing in both first and third-person, you take on the role of an action figure in a fast-paced shooting game.
The game features a full story campaign mode playable solo or with up to four-players online in co-op. The game also supports split-screen play, both locally and online. The upcoming Xbox release will feature cross-platform support for the PC version, so you can play with your friends however you’d like. There are even bots available if you’d prefer to play with AI teammates or opponents.

As can be seen in the trailer above, Hypercharge: Unboxed is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on 31st May, 2024. The game is available for pre-order from today.
