Paranormal Hunter, the co-op survival horror game set in haunted locations, has launched a free demo version. Developed by from Shenmue, Shenmue II, and Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine ‘contributing developer’ EALoGAMES, Paranormal Hunter is playable on a standard PC and also in VR.
In the Paranormal Hunter demo, players will explore petrifying locations alone or with four friends in an immersive, VR-optional experience. Scour abandoned edifices for cursed objects before performing a ritual to exorcise the environment of spirits. But be wary of otherworldly pursuers. Every interaction with wayward ghosts threatens players’ sanity. Find clues, avoid detection, and quell evil before it has a chance to spread.
Paranormal Hunter Demo
The Paranormal Hunter’s debut playable demo features one level with randomised elements. The game is intentionally designed for highly replayable sessions and unpredictable scares.
The game is set to be made available via Steam Early Access soon. The developers expect the title to remain on Early Access for ‘around 6 months’.
Paranormal Hunter has been a project since 2020, and we have been researching and developing various elements such as VR with the aim of refining the game experience.
We are not a large development team, but by launching the Early Access version at the right time and getting direct feedback from consumers, we hope to grow the title into a better game experience.
This early access version will be used to grow and collaborate with the community that wants to support the development of the game. We believe that by listening to players and their feedback, we can create the best possible experience by balancing the game based on our vision for the game.
