Capcom has finally pulled the trigger on what millions of fans across the world have been waiting for: Street Fighter 6. The official announcement came in the early hours of the morning following Capcom’s Pro Tour fighting game exhibition via a countdown website.
Sadly, very little information has been provided. The official trailer (below) offers no details on a timeline for launch. Nor does it mention any formats. What it does suggest is that Street Fighter 6 may use a more realistic art style.
Street Fighter 6 Trailer
In the trailer we can see a somewhat older looking Ryu preparing to battle against Luke, the 45th (and final) character to be added to Street Fighter V. There was no other information, though Capcom said it would have more news coming in the summer of 2022.

Along with the reveal of a new Street Fighter title came another announcement. Capcom Fighting Collection was also detailed, scheduled for 24th June, 2022. Capcom has stated that titles in the collection are going to offer numerous new features, such as mid-game saves, online ranked and casual matches with rollback netcode.
