Following the success of Finding the Soul Orb and The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna, eastasiasoft is to publish another of Tonguç Bodur’s adventure games on console. Originally announced earlier this month, The Redress of Mira now has an official release date. And it’s soon.
The Redress of Mira invites players to step into a solemn and beautiful fantasy world. You’ll join Mira on her pursuit of inner peace. However, as you might expect, it’s not going to be a simple journey.
The Redress of Mira is an adventure told in shifting first-person and third-person perspectives. You take the role of titular heroine Mira. Exploring lovingly crafted medieval landscapes that appear lush and serene on the surface, you’ll soon find they hide a dark and dangerous world beneath.
Mira has a close relationship with her mother. She learned carefully guarded secrets, which lead her to a deeply personal journey. Guided by books and tomes from her mother, she also begins seeing visions of times past. Players will walk, run, climb and ride through picturesque environments. Overcome light platforming and puzzle sequences, meet a colorful cast of characters and defend against enemies both human and monstrous. Will you see Mira’s tale to its end, and will it bring the peace she seeks?
The Redress of Mira looks set to following in the footsteps of Finding the Soul Orb by adding combat and action sequences to Bodur’s acclaimed walking simulator experiences. The game launched on PC in July 2022, where it has ‘mostly positive’ reviews.
eastasiasoft will bring The Redress of Mira to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 8th February, 2023. The game will be priced at US$9.99 / €9.99.
