After several years in development, charming narrative puzzler Tin Hearts is finally set to see the light of day. Developer Rogue Sun alongside publisher Wired Productions have announced that the video game will arrive on 20th April. It’ll support PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Utomik), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox consoles.
Tin Hearts is set in an alternate-timeline Victorian universe where a toy maker builds small tin soldiers which come to life. Puzzles revolve around getting these tiny automatons safely around, over and under a variety of obstacles to an end goal. To achieve this, you’ll have to manipulate the environment to alter the soldiers’ fixed walking path. All the while ensuring they don’t come to any harm from the various traps en route.

“Tin Hearts is a one-of-a-kind experience and we’re keen for players to go on this magical journey, with their sense of mystery and wonder as unspoilt as possible!” said Kostas Zarifis, Managing Director at Rogue Sun. “Our release date trailer teases a whole load of never-before-seen content and features from the game, so we couldn’t be more excited to share it with the world!”
Beta time!
In addition to the release date, players can sign-up now for the closed PC beta. This takes place from 10th – 14th February, on Steam, and 17th – 19th February via Utomik. The beta will give players access to the few opening acts of Tin Hearts
“The brand-new Tin Hearts trailer is a showcase of the lovable characters with a stark change in gameplay from what we have previously shown,” adds Leo Zullo, Managing Director, Wired Productions. “This April, gamers will discover what brilliant minds will do when under threat!”
Tin Hearts won the Most Wanted Nintendo Switch Game Accolade during Gamescom 2022. Wired Productions is set to release a physical edition of the game for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. You can register your interest at the Wired Productions Store.
