We’re merely weeks out from the official Street Fighter 6 launch date. The hype train is in full flow. And publisher Capcom seem to be doing very little to go against that grain, revealing the plans for the first year of Street Fighter 6 DLC characters.
It comes as no surprise Capcom has already laid out plans for the first year of Street Fighter 6 DLC characters. Since the days of Street Fighter II, the publisher has routinely launched multiple editions of each game in the series. The most recent title, Street Fighter 5, had three different editions. As did its predecessor, Street Fighter IV. There will no doubt be further additions of Street Fighter 6 which offer a package with all DLC characters and other balancing updates.
Indeed, at launch there are numerous editions of Street Fighter 6 available. Aside from the Street Fighter 6 steelbook, you can purchase the Deluxe Edition which includes all year one DLC characters. And so, these characters are…
Street Fighter 6 Year 1 DLC Characters
- Rashid of the Turbulent Wind, who debuted in Street Fighter 5. He will be added in Summer 2023.
- The enigmatic A.K.I. struts into the roster in Autumn 2023.
- Ed, the Young Commander from Street Fighter 5, also strikes back in early Winter 2024.
- And finally, the beast that is Akuma will rage into Street Fighter 6 in Spring 2024.
As stated above, all four of these characters will be included in the Deluxe Edition. Additionally, upon release they will be added to the World Tour mode.
Playable Demo Available Now on PlayStation, Coming to Xbox Soon
