This is farming at its most cosy, where you can nurture your corner of the valley. At night a surprise awaits, as the full magic of Everdream Valley comes to life.
Everdream Valley, a magical farming adventure
By day your task is to tend to the farm, growing crops, and caring for an abundance of animals, whilst helping rebuild your grandparent’s livelihood. It needs plenty of attention. Grow all sorts of fruits and vegetables on the sprawling farm, ensuring the crops are watered and weeds removed.
And then there are the animals to care for. They’ll take a lot of your time as they do thrive in the valley. Pigs, cows, chickens, ducks, goats, alpacas and more, some of which are wild and others are domesticated. Each creature comes with some unique influence on your farm.
And no farmer is complete without their trusty pooch as a sidekick. With 10 different breeds to choose from and train, they’ll help with things like herding, tracking, and even finding treasure. Cat lovers will find a moggy roaming around too, but you’ll need to win them over.
After a hard day on the farm, you’ll want to put your feet up and relax. However, in Everdream Valley this is the time when you can inhabit the farm animals and play mini-games. Win, and you’ll receive bonuses to aid the farm the following day.
Everdream Valley is out today for PS5, PS4 and PC on Steam. It is also coming to Nintendo Switch in June 2023, while you wait look at Tin Hearts for Nintendo Switch, another cute title.
