The Final Fantasy train isn’t stopping yet. Following the reveal of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis at Summer Games Fest last week, Square Enix has revealed a selection of official screenshots taken from the game. Coupled with the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth reveal, there’s perhaps never been a better time to be a Final Fantasy VII fan.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is a mobile game set within the Final Fantasy VII world. A new trailer for the upcoming game debuted at the show. Furthermore, the announcement of the start of pre-registration on the App Store and Google Play tempered excitement.
By pre-registering on an Android device, users will have the chance to participate in an upcoming closed beta test. This is planned for 6th-13th July, 2023 (PST).
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Screenshots
This new mobile title is a chapter-structured RPG experience. It will cover key elements of the Final Fantasy VII timeline, including the events of the original game, plus new story elements penned by Final Fantasy VII Remake story and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima. These will surround a young hero we all know: Sephiroth. Oh how his story changes.
The screenshots below will give you some insight into exactly how this story may pan out. Moreover, they give a great deal of details regarding how the game will play on mobile device.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Release Date
As stated above, you can pre-register now for access to the planned beta. The pre-registration period is open until 28th June, 2023. The beta itself will run 6th-13th July, 2023 (PST)
The full release version of the game does not yet have a release date.
