As all Warhammer fans know, every year Games Workshop releases a collection of Christmas boxsets. For example, in 2022, Warhammer 40K saw eight Battleforce boxes, filled with miniature goodies and savings on individual pricing. 2023 rumours have already begun swirling that Age of Sigmar Christmas boxsets are on the horizon.

As described by YouTuber Chapter Master Valrak, Age of Sigmar players could have four boxsets to choose from. These will be Bonereapers, Soulblight Gravelords, Chaos and Seraphon. When it comes to Chaos, the set will reportedly be themed around Be’lakor, featuring a Champion of Be’lakor rather than the Daemon Prince himself.

Christmas rumours

Naturally, these are still rumours at present. There are no further details regarding contents, pricing or when they could be made available. For context, Games Workshop officially announced the 2022 boxsets in early November, so there are still a couple of months to wait. Last year all the sets retailed for £130 GBP, saving (on average) around £70 if you bought them all individually.

A lot of these armies have been updated during 2023, especially when it comes to the likes of Seraphon. Lots of new units were unveiled back in March, with the Seraphon Army Set going on sale a month later. More recently, pre-orders have now gone live for the Vanguard: Seraphon set.

The Soulblight Gravelords are another army that’s been getting some love and attention this year. A new battletome arrived alongside units such as Ivya Volga and Wight King on Skeletal Steed.

Elsewhere on the Warhammer front, a new Cities of Sigmar Army set is now available to pre-order. Plus there a two new miniatures to choose from if you subscribe to Warhammer+.
