505 Games and Rabbit & Bear Studios have announced the release date of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The top funded Kickstarter game of 2020 is now slated for global release on 23rd April, 2024. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is an JRPG from Yoshitaka Murayama’s (Suikoden I & II) and Junko Kawano (Suikoden I & IV). The aim is to take the turn-based strategy game experience ‘to the next level’.

Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values. The land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there. The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the magic of rune-lenses.

Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand its power even further. It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling and Nowa meet. However, a twist of fate will soon drag them into the fires of war. They will be forced to reexamine everything they believe to be right and true.

The game features a six-character battle system, brought to life with meticulously created 2D sprites and 3D backgrounds. Publisher 505 Games promises a ‘riveting’ story with over 100 playable characters and gameplay designed to bring players a modern take on classic JRPGs.
