ININ and YSNET are flying in fast with the latest Yu Suzuki release, Air Twister. The highly anticipated console and PC port of Air Twister releases digitally for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC today. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch are also now available.
Air Twister is a rail shooter developed and published by YSNET. The studio has produced a few small scale mobile games and the Kickstarter funded console game, Shenmue III. Air Twister was the studio’s first big budget internationally released smart phone game. The game originally released on 24th June, 2022, for iOS and macOS via Apple Arcade. Today marks the debut of Air Twister outside of Apple’s ecosystem.
In the game, players soar through the sky battling against invaders in an endless shooter from Yu Suzuki. Players will assume the role of Princess Arch fighting back against bizarre invaders to save their planet from destruction. You’ll rain down homing arrows to trace graceful arcs of light across beautiful, artfully crafted stages, before they pierce their foes.
Arcade gaming legend, Yu Suzuki, delighted gamers with titles like Space Harrier, Virtua Fighter, and, of course, the Shenmue series. Commenting on the title, Suzuki stated: “Air Twister is an easy game to pick up and play, and I hope that more people will enjoy playing a game that brings back the feeling of the good old arcade game.”
Air Twister Console & PC Launch
The console and PC edition of Air Twister features all of the gameplay modes from the Apple edition. The game comprises of 12 stages, each offering randomised gear each time you play. 10 unique bosses will test your abilities, and the Challenge Games will give you the opportunity to experience a variety of new gear and weapons.
Air Twister is available for console and PC formats now. As stated above, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch gamers can also purchase a physical edition of the game.
