King Arthur: Knight’s Tale was announced back in 2022 for release later that year. 2022 came and went however, with no sign of the game. Now we’re in 2023, and still no sign. 2024 however, will great the Lady of the Lake a new King Arthur: Knight’s Tale release date has now been set.

You are Sir Mordred, the nemesis of King Arthur, the former black knight of the grim tales. You killed King Arthur, but with his dying breath, he struck you down. Both of you died. And yet, you both live. Things begin confusing enough, but now you have a new quest.

The Lady of the Lake, the ruler of the mystical island of Avalon brought you back. She wants you to go on a knightly quest. She wants you to finish what you have begun. Kill King Arthur – or whatever he has become after she took his dying vessel to Avalon.

King Arthur: Knight’s Tale Release Date

King Arthur: Knight’s Tale promises to deliver a unique hybrid of turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. The game originally launched on PC, following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2020. NeocoreGames has stated that support for this console release will continue long after launch with seasonal content, optional skirmishes, and more features coming at a later date.

As stated above, NeocoreGames has announced that the game is finally coming to consoles in 2024. More specifically, the King Arthur: Knight’s Tale will launch on 22nd February, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. On consoles, the game will offer both a Quality Mode offering 4K visuals, or a Performance Mode that prioritises framerate. PlayStation 5 players will also benefit from haptic feedback support for the DualSense controller.
