As many had predicted, the hit mobile title Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis has made it’s way to PC. The game launched for iOS and Android back in September, 2023. At that time – and since the launch -there had been no word of a PC port. That is until today, with Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis now available for PC via Steam.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is presented in a retro-style look, combined with modern graphics. The game lets players experience classic elements of the Final Fantasy VII timeline. As well as new story elements penned by Final Fantasy Remake story and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima. Within the game, players can create parties of their favorite characters and customise each one with gear and weapons. You’ll then take this party to defeat powerful opponents in solo or co-op battle mode.
Chit Hot delivered a Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis review at launch, stating: “The game is absolutely beautiful. When running on the ‘ultra’ setting, the visuals are comparable to early PlayStation 4 titles. A stunning achievement for mobile devices. Character models are densely detailed; cloth flows believably in subtle winds. It is, at the point of release, one of the best looking mobile titles ever released.”
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis PC Edition
Alongside the PC release of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, Square Enix has announced that the mobile edition of the game has seen over seven million downloads. What’s more, players who have already started their adventure on iOS or Android can take advantage of cross-save capabilities and load their save data on the Steam version of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis.
