How soon is too soon? Yesterday’s launch of Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles expanded the Falconeer series in a new direction. But it seems developer Tomas Sala isn’t done yet. A DLC roadmap for Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles has been teased, alongside the announcement of a third Falconeer game: Ancient Waves (working title).

Ancient Waves will attempt to bring the grand world created over the first two releases down to a human scale. Players will once again be invited to the the tumultuous realm of the Ursee, but from an entirely new perspective. The people who do the jobs that run a society and their stories. Little else is known at this point, but publisher Wired Productions assure that more information on the project will be revealed later this year.

Tomas Sala states, “I like the idea of the smallest roles and actors in a grand set of events. The next game will be an attempt to take the perspective on this world down to a human scale. I think it would be great to show the three epochs of this world. How a society gets stuck and fixed in place and attempts to break free through violence and conflict (The Falconeer). How people rebuild and the kind of walls they build around them (Bulwark Chronicles) and then the perspective on how a society can collapse as seen by the people experiencing the preludes to such an event.”
