Stunlock Studios has announced an interesting collaboration for the upcoming full launch of V Rising. Teaming up with Konami, fantasy survival game V Rising will be getting a Castlevania crossover, Legacy of Castlevania, when it fully launches in May.
Famed vampire hunter Simon Belmont is infiltrating V Rising to challenge all of Vampire kind. Belmont wields his legendary whip and an infamous arsenal of holy weaponry. No night stalker will be safe from his righteous crusade through Vardoran. Should you manage to defeat him, you’ll unlock the secrets of his iconic weapon. This will offer new combat abilities that embody the grace and precision of a deadly Vampire.
V Rising – Legacy of Castlevania
Legacy of Castlevania will be available as free content. This includes Simon Belmont and the new whip weapon. However, there will of course be a paid addition also available.
Vampire enthusiasts will be able to purchase the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack cosmetic DLC. This allows you to construct your own castles inspired by Castlevania’s classic gothic aesthetic. You can decorate your opulent lair and employ character customisation options inspired by classic Castlevania characters. What’s more, there’s also a spooky skeletal mount included.
You can even set the tone in your ominous abode with two classic Castlevania themes reimagined by V Rising composer Aleksandria Migova.

V Rising will see its full 1.0 launch on 8th May, 2024. The PlayStation 5 version of the game is set to follow later this year, and has been promised to offer content parity with that of the PC version.
