Ahead of the launch of Blacktail on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC later this year, a new demo version has been made available. The Blacktail demo is available now, but only for a limited time.
Become the witch of the woods in Blacktail. The game brings slavic myth to life in a surreal first-person action-adventure. Players will discover Yaga’s story and guide her along the path to become either the fearsome guardian of the forest or the dark legend that haunts children’s nightmares.
This new demo version of Blacktail offers a lot of depth. New combat elements not yet seen and details on how the game’s morality system affects the story can be sampled. Furthermore, the demo features a whole host of collectibles littered across the forest. Players must explore the furthest reaches to see if they can find all of the toads an Boboks hidden within.
The demo has launched as part of the ongoing Steam Next Fest event. Available now to PC players, unfortunately Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 gamers will have to wait a bit longer for a taste of Blacktail. The game is set for release across all three formats in 2022, but no specific date has yet been offered. A new trailer for the demo can be seen below.
