“We cannot wait to see players take on the Kao the Kangaroo demo,”

“The reaction we saw after the last trailer went out has blown us away, and so now seems like the perfect time to let people in on the action ahead of the game’s release later this summer.”

Kaja Borowko, Head of Studio

The original Kao the Kangaroo series collectively sold more than 700,000 units worldwide. Four games in total launched across PC, PlayStation 2, PSP, GameCube, Xbox, Game Boy Advance, and the aforementioned SEGA Dreamcast.

In this new adventure, Kao will use his boxing gloves to punch a path through his adversaries. These boxing gloves are imbued with new magical powers, allowing for unique moves as he jabs his way through obstacles. Players can get a taste of this with the new Kao the Kangaroo demo, available to download now.

Kao the Kangaroo will launch digitally and physically on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam this summer. Are you looking forward to punching your way to victory? Let us know in the comments below!
