Robert Pattinson’s turn as the Dark Knight in The Batman may only be warming up, but the next actor in line has already been revealed. The new DC League of Super-Pets trailer has revealed that Keanu Reeves will be playing another version of Batman in the upcoming animated film.

In DC League of Super-Pets, Dwayne Johnson’s Krypto is best friends with John Krasinski’s Superman. They work together to help stop crime in Metropolis, as Krypto even shares the same superpowers. However, Superman is kidnapped, alongside other members of the Justice League. Krypto Must now form a team to rescue the heroes. That includes Ace, Vanessa Bayer’s PB the Potbellied Pig, Natasha Lyonne’s Merton the Turtle, and Diego Luna’s Chip the Squirrel to save the heroes.

DC League of Super-Pets is set to be released in cinemas internationally on 18th May, 2022, and in North America on 20th May, 2022. Reeves will be joined by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart’s Ace the Bat-Hound, and many more. DC League of Super-Pets has been in production since 2018. The Flash, which will also feature Batman, is currently scheduled for release in November 2022. The Shazam! sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods has been delayed until 2023.
