Pokémon Scarlet & Violet was announced earlier this year. There’s a new region to explore, brand new starters to choose from, and new pokémon to catch. The game looks set to follow in the footsteps of Pokémon Legends: Arceus in giving players a much greater level of freedom to explore, and while we haven’t had a full reveal of the game yet, there was a surprising amount of info in the initial teaser trailer. Including a number of pokémon confirmed to be in the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Pokédex.
The official description of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet offers a little insight into what we’ll be playing later this year:
Various towns blend seamlessly into the wilderness with no borders. You’ll be able to see the Pokémon of this region in the skies, in the seas, in the forests, on the streets—all over! You’ll be able to experience the true joy of the Pokémon series—battling against wild Pokémon in order to catch them—now in an open-world game that players of any age can enjoy.

Since the games where revealed fans have been crying out for more details on the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Pokédex. Specifically, whether next mainline entry will include all previous pokémon, or if it will be like Pokémon Sword & Shield and offer only a regional list. While it’s more likely there’ll only be a regional list in the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Pokédex, we don’t yet know how far that extends. What we do know however, is a small list of pokémon that are set to be included. Here’s every pokémon revealed so far:
- Starly
- Hoppip
- Petilil
- Bounsweet
- Psyduck
- Combee
- Drilfoon
