Square Enix has revealed the release date for the forthcoming The DioField Chronicle. Currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, The DioField Chronicle release date has been set for 22nd September 2022, across all formats.
The DioField Chronicle is an all-new strategy RPG that immerses you in an epic tale of war and honor. Players will command your forces in real-time tactical battles, all portrayed in diorama-style environments.
Set in a world that blends fantasy, medieval, and modern-day influences, DioField Island is also in utter turmoil. After 200 years of peace, an age of war has arisen. The mineral Jade which is prized for its use in magic and sorcery. Amidst the chaos, a band of elite mercenaries called Blue Fox begin to rise. Their deeds and fates will be sung of in ages yet to come. But when all is said and done, will the name Blue Fox come to signify hope or darkest tragedy?
The DioField Chronicle features unique character designs by Taiki (Lord of Vermilion III, IV), concept art by Isamu Kamikokuryo (Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIII) and orchestrated music by composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, best known for their work on Game of Thrones.
The DioField Chronicle Release Date
Launching this autumn, The DioField Chronicle release date has been set for 22nd September, 2022. The game is available at physical retail on all formats. In addition, there are two digital editions available to pre-order. The Standard Edition is, well, standard. There’s also the Digital Deluxe Edition. This version gives you in-game items that you can use at the start of the game, including the Knight’s Spear weapon and Mystical Ring accessory. You’ll also get digital versions of The DioField Chronicle soundtrack and Digital Artbook.
