However, for those who have forgotten the game’s challenges, we’ve prepared a GoldenEye 007 Walkthrough Guide: Silo! This article will cover everything you need to know to complete the sixth level, Silo, on Agent, Secret Agent and 00 Agent difficulties.

Silo is mostly a stealth mission. Save your KF7 Soviet until later in the level, as keeping quiet will give you a much easier ride! You’ll need to get plenty of keycards and ensure you correctly plant the Plastique – all of which is covered in this GoldenEye 007 Walkthrough Guide: Silo!

GoldenEye 007 Walkthrough Guide: Silo

You begin on a walkway right next to a big missile. Open the door ahead and kill the guards. You should get a message that says “Silo Infiltrated, Explosives Automatically primed”, and a timer should appear at the bottom of the screen. On Secret Agent, you have 7:30 (seven minutes and thirty seconds) to complete the mission. On 00 Agent, you have 8:30. If you’re playing on Agent, there is no timer. Open the next door and head down the hallway, then up the stairs.

You’ll find more guards in the corridor. After you’ve dispatched them, move down the hall and into the first fuel room. There is one guard in here, on the right side of the room behind a small pillar. Run over to the corner of the room and grab the two circuit boards. Look next to the computer directly in front of you to find a keycard on the floor. Grab it, and run up the stairs and out the door. 00 Agent players must plant Plastique here.

Run through the door, kill the guards you find. Take the door on the right. There a curved walkway with a guard here. You can shoot the guard across the walkway so he can’t shoot back. Open the next door and shoot the guard that you see, plus those who follow him.

Now, it’s time to go loud. Take out you KF7 Soviet and shoot the gas tanks at the top of the stairs. You’ll attract more guards, so take cover.

Head into the next room, which will be the second fuel room. There is one Circuit Board here, and if you’re playing on Agent difficulty you’ll find Body Armour on the floor. The keycard here is in the middle of the room, next to the tallest computer. 00 Agents – plant more Plastique.

Exit this room and watch out for a guard in the hallway. You may find a large group of guards comes out of the room on the right. If they do, ambush them around the corner with the KF7 Soviet.

Run through the door on the right. Enter with caution as there are lots of guards using boxes as cover. Run up the stairs and lean over the corner to find more guards. Once they’re dealt with run into the third fuel room.

Grab the last circuit board (Objective D: Completed), and go over to the right corner. There should be a scientist here. He drops the DAT (telemetric data). Grab it (Objective C: Completed), and run over to the bottom left corner of the room. There is a little nook here formed by where a computer meets the wall. There is also a keycard. Grab it, and remember to plant the Plastique.

There might be two guards in the next hallway. Also, sometimes a stream of guards will start coming from the right. The door on the left will hold a Body Armour on all difficulty settings.

Run out of the missile room, through the right door. There will be a number of guards here. The room that follows, also. Run up the stairs and there are more guards.

Head up the stairs and you’ll find the last fuel room. In the middle of the room you’ll see the Goldeneye satellite? Switch to your camera and take a few pictures (Objective B: Completed). There is also a Body Armour in here on Agent mode. 00 Agents should plant their last Plastique.

Now is a boss fight, of sorts. Run through the door, and find Ourumov from the Facility level. The General will yell, “Kill him.” If you’re running short on time (20 seconds or less) forget the soldiers and start running for the exit. You probably won’t make it, but it’s your only chance!

If you have time to take on the soldiers, Ouromov will stand alone. Chase him, shooting as you go. Eventually he’ll get away, and more soldiers will appear. Once cleared out, take a left at the first turn in the path. Keep running, and there’s a little alcove with an elevator. Open the door and head in. If you killed two scientists or less (Objective E: Complete).

A special note if you’re playing on 00 Agent difficulty. If you miss placing a Plastique, the only way to complete the objective is to run back to previous rooms. As soon as you see the “Objective A: Complete” message, run back to the top.

Also, when 00 Agents beat the level, they’ll be rewarded with a little cinema that shows the silo blowing up.
