More than 20 years ago SEGA helped pave the way for an entirely new genre with the hugely popular Crazy Taxi. A long-running series was born with adaptations for nearly every format. Now, SEGA are back in the driving seat bringing Lion Castle’s and GS2 Games’ Taxi Chaos to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Taxi Chaos is a modern take on the classic genre. Players can earn big fares by successfully picking up and dropping off customers at the required destination. Players can get behind the wheel of a wide range of unlockable rides, each with its own different attributes. Muscle car, superfast exotic supercar and the Japanese tuner are just a few. Additional vehicles will become available as players progress through the game.

Would-be cabbies will be able to explore a vast city with many New York-inspired locations. Discover shortcuts, hit impossible jumps and aggressively bash through traffic, all while getting paid to do it. Passengers won’t mind if you trade paint with other cars since they’re a little crazy themselves. Players can look forward to giving a ride to hipsters, plumbers, rock stars and even aliens without worrying about getting a poor rating in a ride-sharing app.

Developed by Team6 Game Studios, Taxi Chaos is published by Lion Castle, and will release both digital and at retail. The North American retail version will be published and distributed by GS2 Games, the European retail version by Mindscape, and the Asian versions will be published by Epicsoft and distributed by SEGA.

Taxi Chaos is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on 23rd February 2021. You can see the teaser trailer for the game directly below.
