Back 4 Blood is one of the most highly anticipated co-op multiplayer games currently on the 2021 release schedule. And as promised, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has launched a Closed Alpha testing phase for the upcoming game.
A co-operative first-person shooter from the creators of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise, Back 4 Blood puts you and your friends at the center of a war against the ‘ridden’. These once-human hosts of a deadly parasite have turned into terrifying creatures bent on devouring what remains of civilization. With humanity’s extinction on the line, it’s up to you and your friends to take the fight to the enemy, eradicate the ridden, and reclaim the world.
Beginning yesterday, 17th December 2020, and running until 21st December 2020, the Back 4 Blood Closed Alpha is currently only available to Windows PC players via Steam. You can register your interest in participating in this and other potential testing phases right here.
We haven’t yet jumped in ourselves, so it’s currently unknown how much of the final game’s content is available in the Back 4 Blood Closed Alpha. The final release is promising to deliver eight customisable characters and a Roguelike card system for randomised gameplay experiences. Furthermore, both co-operative and versus modes will be on offer.
Back 4 Blood is currently expected to launch in Summer 2021. The game will be made available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The debut trailer for the game is available right below. Be sure to let us know in the comments section if you made it into the Back 4 Blood Closed Alpha!
