Hype for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently running high. No surprise considering the popularity of the series, and also the install base of the Nintendo Switch console. However, what may come as a surprise is the fact that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still getting attention, with a new Daruk Statue coming later this year.

Finally set to arrive in just a couple of months, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks set to be the Nintendo Switch‘s last hurrah. Fitting, for a follow-up to the title that was the console’s first ‘must-have’ title. However, despite the years of teases, we actually know very little about the setting of the game.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild featured four great heroes. Each of them trapped by a Divine Beast the player had to conquer. We don’t know if these heroes will appear in any form in the sequel, but one of them is set to be immortalised later this year.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Daruk Statue

Daruk Statue

First 4 Figures has revealed a new Daruk Statue. The Goron Champion and pilot of the Divine Beast Vah Rudania, Daruk is a mighty yet friendly hero. For the first time, he is set to be brought to life in this high-quality PVC statue.

Daruk’s pose is modeled after the official artwork from the game. A wide grin beams across his face and his signature weapon, Boulder Breaker, is in his hands. The base’s design features the Sheikah Eye symbol, which retains consistency between the other statues in the First 4 Figures of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lineup.

Available to pre-order now, two editions of the Daruk Statue will be available. The Collector’s Edition has two light-up LED modes (Static and Animated) in the base. When activated, the Sheikah Eye symbol will glow a brilliant blue: steadily on in Static mode and pulsating in Animated mode.

The standard edition will be priced at £117.44 GBP. The Collector’s Edition is only a little more costly, coming in at £134.84. As stated above, both are available to pre-order now.
