Games Workshop’s Warhammer franchise – 40K or Age of Sigmar- can be a little difficult for beginners to get their heads around. This is where the likes of Warhammer Underworlds come in. There are still miniatures to paint but it’s more like a traditional board game. To help encourage new fans into the hobby, Games Workshop has revealed a new Warhammer Underworlds: Starter Set.
Designed to be faster in pace than the standard Warhammer game, Warhammer Underworlds has always been great for those players who want speedy battles. There’s still plenty of competitive depth to the game with new seasons offering up fresh rules and new Warbands. Furthermore, these models can be used in Warhammer Age of Sigmar as well.

Great for new and veteran players alike, newbies will certainly benefit from the playthrough booklet. This takes them through a full, predetermined game of Warhammer Underworlds. Detailing each Warband activation, how it plays Ploys and Upgrades, securing Objective cards, and earning Glory Points to win the game.
The new Warhammer Underworlds Starter Set isn’t available just yet, pre-orders are expected to begin soon.
