Futuristic cooperative shooter SYNCED is scheduled to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this summer. In preparation for SYNCED arrival, publisher Level Infinite and developer NExT Studios have now opened pre-registrations.
SYNCED is a free-to-play shooter set in a future where nanotechnology has become the backbone of civilization. By pre-registering for the programme player’s will be rewarded once specific milestones are reached. For example, simply by registering you’ll be awarded the ‘Deep Cut’ Avatar. Further rewards are unlocked the more people join. So at 100,000, you’ll get the “Champ In The Making” card, then at 800,000 the Nano Skin “Glimmer” will unlock.

The studio notes that: “All rewards will be provided to eligible accounts once SYNCED officially launches later this summer.”

Built around online combat, players team up in squads of three to encounter PvE and PvP battles. In this nanotech-driven future, the nanomachines have turned against their creators, consuming humans to propagate themselves and transforming into deadly Nanos. Players take on the roles of Runners, who have a special ability, they can sync with any Prime Nanos they take down.
Syncing turns them into Companion Nanos, where they can be strategically deployed against the Nano hordes and opposing players. There are four Prime Nano classes – Crusher, Suppressor, Guardian, and Seer, each with their own abilities to suit different playstyles.
Last month NExT Studios released a SYNCED multiplayer demo as part of Steam’s Next Fest. It was the first time players had been given a chance to test the multiplayer component.
