One of the big Marvel movies of 2023 is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, finally ending the Star-Lord saga. Debuting in cinemas back in May, if you’ve not seen the third instalment and you have Disney+ then you’re in luck. The film will be available don’t he streaming channel from tomorrow, 2nd August 2023.
The last movie directed by James Gunn under the Marvel banner, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 creates an emotional finale for the team. Saving the universe once again, a good chunk of the runtime focuses on Rocket and his backstory. Whilst previously alluded to, for the first time viewers learn about his harrowing transformation from raccoon to the character we know and love today.
The movie’s main bad guy, the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), was behind these experiments. All becuase he wants to “create the perfect society”. This has meant countless experiments with some interesting reveals regaridng the societies he has created.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 Disney+ collection
To mark the upcoming launch of the film on Disney+, the streaming channel has released new cover art for its collection of Guardians-related movies and shows. It features Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot in a retro, pop art design. The new collection will be made up of:

- The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022)

Additionally, August will also see the physical debut of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. For those who like a nice Blu-ray and 4K UHD offering sat on their shelf instead.
