Are you a fan of the Warhammer+ show Blacktalons? If you are and happen to collect Age of Sigmar’s Stormcast Eternals then hold onto your paintbrushes! Games Workshop has announced that the Blacktalons are getting their own physical models.
As you probably already know, the Blacktalons are a group of divine assassins, led by the Knight-Zephyros Neave Blacktalon. Five models are due to arrive, Neave Blacktalon herself, Hendrick the Silver Wolf; Shakana Goldenblade, Rostus Oxenhammer and Lorai, Child of the Abyss.
Warhammer+ Blacktalons unit
A force of nature, Neave Blacktalon wields two mighty Whirlwind axes, covering ground at great speed as she can ride the winds aetheric. A living legend, the toll of reforging has reduced her to little more than a living weapon. And as you’ll know from the show, Blacktalon wrestles with fractured memories, battling to uncover the truth about her past.
Hendrick the Silver Wolf is Neave’s mentor. A warrior and hero with many centuries of experience behind him, he wields multiple weapons with which to slay his foes. Acting as group counsel and strategist, Hendrick used to lead the unit but now has faith in Sigmar’s plans for Neave.
Adding ranged capabilities to the group is Shakana Goldenblade. Accompanied by her Star-eagle, Anda, Shakana is Blacktalons sharpshooter acting as scout and sniper, thwarting ambushes with an accurate flurry of arrows.
While the aforementioned warriors are known for their speed and accuracy, the team is backed up by the power and strength of Rostus Oxenhammer. A Paladin from Ghur, Rostus can always be found in the thick of the action wielding his massive grandhammer.
Rounding out the Blacktalons offensive capabilities is soul-mage Lorai, Child of the Abyss. A Soulscryer who has worked with the Blacktalons for countless years, Lorai lends her magical talents to tracking the group’s prey across the realms. The Idoneth sorcerer also has mastery over water, can tune into the spirit and emotions of living creatures, as well as unleashing obliviating magics that can warp and destroy mortal memories.
