Wildagotchi: Virtual Pet is, unsurprisingly, inspired by the Japanese hit Tamagotchi, which has made somewhat of a resurgence in recent years. However, in this new Nintendo Switch game, players can opt for all manner of mythical and extinct animals as well as more traditional options.
Wildagotchi: Virtual Pet Gameplay
Players will have a chance to prove themselves as caretakers, starting with a dinosaur. They can work their way through other reptiles, mammals, birds and even plants and many others. Players will have to demonstrate their competency and multitasking. They will need to look after the pet in real time, so that none of its needs are neglected. Failure to do so will have negative consequences for its health and happiness. If you ignore your pets for too long, they can fall into sadness or even get sick. Their fate is within your hands, so don’t forget about them.
A well-kept and contented animal will grow up faster. Players will then be able to adopt another one, so that their exotic family continues to expand. For additional fun, players can play a variety of mini-games with their pets.

Wildagotchi: Virtual Pet will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop from 25th August, 2023. The game will be priced at $12.99 USD.
