Everguild has announced the highly-anticipated Early Access release of Warhammer 40K: Warpforge. The game is now available for iOS and Android devices, as well as on Steam for PC and Steam Deck gamers.

According to Everguild, Warhammer 40K: Warpforge is set to ‘redefine’ the digital card game genre. The game offers a whole new take on the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The most iconic factions fight in scenarios that shift under different environmental conditions. A progression system allows players to collect and play with their favourite armies from the start. And all of this is accompanied by artwork, visual effects, music and voice overs immediately recognisable as the grim dark future of the 41st Millennium.

Everguild has also announced a custom interface optimised for Steam Deck and other touch devices. It will feature in the mobile version of Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge. Both PC and mobile versions offer full crossplay, with ‘seamless’ linking of accounts between each edition of the game.

“We are very excited about Warpforge reaching Early Access. The feedback from the community has been absolutely encouraging during the closed alpha and beta periods.” said Andres Tallos, CEO of Everguild. “We have an exciting roadmap planned for the game, from additional factions to social features and new game modes. We are looking forward to continuing to learn from this Early Access period, in order to build the best possible card game!”

Warpforge will feature six powerful factions on release, with more armies joining in over time. The game is available now via Steam, the App Store and Google Play.
