At the beginning of the year Games Workshop launched Warhammer’s new Age of Sigmar Stormbringer magazine. Only available in the UK, the company has now launched the US edition, with pre-order offers still available for the next few weeks.
As UK Warhammer fans will already know, each Stormbringer magazine is filled with hobby information. These include painting guides and game tutorials, making a subscription great for newcomers. The real boon, though, is that each issue comes with a gift. These can range from miniatures – in most issues – to tools, paints, scenery and other items.

Bring on the Storm
Warhammer’s Age of Sigmar Stormbringer magazine launched in the US on 25th October. It’s only available via subscription, with two tiers available. The Standard subscription retails for $13.99 per issue and you’ll get four issues per month. Within the subscription are four free gifts – Citadel Modelling Kit, Binder & Dividers, Exclusive Heat-Changing Mug and a Paint Brush Set – and 1 free issue, plus the pre-order bonus which is Haggok, Gutrippa Boss miniature. This model isn’t available separately.
Then you have the Premium subscription for $16.99 per issue. You get all the same bonuses as the Standard subscription plus four premium kits. These include Krondys, Son of Dracothion and Gordrakk, Fist of Gork.
The pre-order bonuses are only available until 15th November 2023.
Stormbringer’s first few issues focus on the Stormcast Eternals battling the Kruleboyz to get players up and running with Warhammer Age of Sigmar’s basics. As the issues progress you’ll build up Sylvaneth, Kharadron Overlords, Ironjawz, and Gloomspite Gitz armies as well as paint and terrain collections.
For those far more well acquainted with Warhammer, there are always the upcoming festive boxsets to enjoy.
