The medieval battlefield continues to grow with the launch of the Chivalry 2: Reclamation Update. Out now for all supported platforms, the Reclamation Update represents one of Torn Banner Studios’ most ambitious content drops yet with a brand-new Team Objective map for the game’s signature 64-player battles.
In addition, a new limited-time game mode, “Last Peasant Standing,” and the new “Siege Crossbow” weapon have arrived in Chivalry 2. A new trailer has been released, detailing many of the assets which arrived with the Reclamation Update.
Chivalry 2: Reclamation Update Trailer
Of the many new additions the Chivalry 2: Reclamation Update brings, the new Team Objective map will be the headline for many players. This map sees the Agathians fighting back against the Tenosian Empire’s invasion. The new 64-player map promises a challenging uphill battle for the attacking Agathian faction. They must break through the fortress’s walls with petards while avoiding a rain of ballista fire. Should they break through, Agathians must then lift the keep’s gates, reclaiming the fortress for Agatha.
Also added is a new limited-time game mode, known as “Last Peasant Standing”. Here, the peasantry of Aberfell are having a feud. As a fragile peasant, players must scramble for what limited weapons they can find. The challenge is to defeat the enemy team through multiple rounds. Victory goes to the team that wins five rounds in total.
Other new additions include the Siege Crossbow weapon, available for the Crossbowman subclass, a new free-for-all map and a new Campaign Pass. The progression-based Campaign Pass: Reclamation unlocks new armors, weapon skins, heraldry and more. Rewards range from the impressive Agatha Templar armor sets to a variety of Warhammer skins and many more.
