Top Hat Studios has announced the long awaited console release of Alisa is finally coming soon. A cult-classic 90’s homage survival horror, Alisa debuted on PC back in 2021, where it was met with a very positive response. Console gamers can find out why in just a few weeks.
Elite Royal Agent Alisa is hot on the heels of a notorious thief. In a fantastical world somewhat reminiscent of the 1920s, she finds herself suddenly whisked away to an old Victorian-style mansion. Haunted by the by the mansion’s mechanised doll-like inhabitants, Alisa has only one priority: survive and escape. But can she do this with her humanity intact?
A fan favourite amongst retro, low-poly and survival horror enthusiasts, Alisa is a genuine throwback to PlayStation and Nintendo 64 style gaming. Pre-rendered backgrounds, a whopping 480p resolution, and fixed camera angles. Everything a ’90s gamer could hope for. What’s more, you’ll be choosing between classic tank controls or modern control styles is available in-game. Alisa features all the trappings you would expect from the genre. Currency, items, and outfits with unique player stats boosts. Plus weapon load-outs that range from a sabre to a blunderbuss, to an SMG.

Alisa Comes to Consoles
Originally developed in Unity 5, Alisa required the use of several engine and technological innovations in order to make the game compatible with modern console systems. The game runs faithfully to the original on all platforms, and the port team is proud of the end result. This console edition is billed as the ‘Developer’s Cut’ of the game. It contains all updates and new content previously added to the PC version, as well as numerous fixes and quality of life optimisations.
