‘Tis the season to be a Games Workshop videogame fan. Not only has the first Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin DLC arrived, but now fans of Blood Bowl can get in on the action, too. Blood Bowl 3 players can add the Shambling Undead faction on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
Shambling Undead teams are drawn from a mix of vicious undead creatures and former Blood Bowl players who died on the pitch and – through the art of necromancy – have been given the chance of a second career! The Shambling Undead faction DLC features four new Star Players and a selection of new Blood Pass unlockable rewards.
The Shambling Undead is a team with a smart blend of slow but powerful players as well as faster but less durable players. Mummies and Zombies versus Ghouls and Skeletons, respectively. The Shambling Undead form a versatile team with which players can easily get to grips.

The Blood Bowl 3 Shambling Undead DLC team is available to download now for free. Players can also purchase the Season 1 & 2 teams from the Blood Pass separately.
Blood Bowl 3 launched back in February 2023, and got off to a rocky start. After the huge success of Blood Bowl 2 and significant delays in this follow-up, fans were expecting a huge leap for the franchise. However, the game that was eventually delivered was a mechanical step backwards, with many gameplay modes broken at launch. Cyanide Studios has made efforts to turn the game around, but it still has many detractors.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the Games Workshop fanbase, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin received significant critical acclaim. But conversely, has reportedly sold poorly. Two very different games from the same parent company, with two very different problems.
